THE SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Friends of Arataki have annual and monthly social events enjoyed by all our members.

Some of our regular annual events include :

In June we have a mid-winter pot-luck lunch held at the Arataki Centre. This includes mulled wine, carved ham, Christmas tree, Santa and presents for children, quiz, raffles and entertainment.

In November we have our annual Friends of Arataki Kids Day (check this out in this year's events)

Also in November, the Friends have a Christmas get together at the Karamatura Farm (Huia). Other local volunteer groups are invited to join us at this event, which is held in beautiful surroundings where events are   available for children and a hangi dinner is provided for all.
