Monthly Events for 2009

February 15^th (Sunday) - Special General Meeting and AGM.

3 pm at the Arataki Education Building. A good attendance is important as a quorum is needed to pass proposed changes to the Friends Rules

March 22^nd Sunday - Mokoroa Falls Walk. 

The weather was perfect. The walk had two groups, following two different trails. The first group took the Mokoroa Loop Walk, which takes about 3 hours and requires multiple stream crossings. Seven members joined this group. The second group took the shorter Mokoroa Falls track, which takes about 1:30 hours. This group had eight members. 

Both groups met at the top of the falls and we had a wonderful picnic lunch! The 'social service', to prune a Manuka tree, was considered impermissible in that DOC area!

April 19^th Sunday - West Lynn Gardens Visit and Picnic Lunch

Visit these beautiful gardens tended by a dedicated group of volunteers. Trees will be coming into their Autumn colours. Lunch at one of the main picnic sites in the gardens. Meet at 10:30 am at 73 Parker Avenue, New Lynn.
